Psychology (Biological), Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track for Fall 2011.

Spring Hill College, a Jesuit, Catholic liberal arts institution, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Biological Psychology to begin August 2011. We anticipate hiring at the assistant professor level and seek applicants who are strongly committed to excellence in teaching and have the ability and willingness to direct undergraduate research. An earned doctorate in Psychology is preferred although ABD candidates may be considered. The qualified candidate should have the ability to teach General Psychology, Biological Psychology, Health Psychology and other courses related to their specialty. The normal teaching load is 4/4; however, opportunities for course releases are available. Sociology Faculty Member (Tenure Track) for Fall 2011

Spring Hill College, a Jesuit, Catholic liberal arts institution, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Sociology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to begin August 2011. We seek applicants who are strongly committed to excellence in teaching and have the ability and willingness to direct undergraduate research. Candidates with an interest in social justice will be given special attention. Candidates must be able to direct a program with a minor in Sociology that has the potential for growth. An earned doctorate in Sociology is required. Specific teaching duties will be dependent on area(s) of expertise but will likely include Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, and Cultural Anthropology. The normal teaching load is 4/4; however, opportunities for course releases are available.
