The mission of L'Arche is to create a family atmosphere for adults with mental handicaps and to interact with them as equals. L'Arche Mobile has four homes and an activity center where residents may work during the day. Students from Spring Hill participate with them in many activities - walking, playing games, working puzzles, etc. In the activity center where L'Arche members work on crafts and other projects, students can assist with making cards, bead work, craft projects and other creative activities. This is a very special ministry which requires patience and rewards with joy.
