Information & Instructional Services Librarian
Open Faculty Position
Under the limited supervision of the Director of Library and Information Resource Services, supervises circulation staff and operations; works collegially to provide basic and advanced levels of bibliographic instruction and all areas of Reference services; provides online search and interlibrary loan services as outlined in library policies and procedures; and assists in defining, coordinating, developing, implementing and supervising all public service needs and activities. This position provides instructional support for curriculum, collection development, and pedagogy for both faculty and students in the online and traditional environments; promotes student success and retention through collaboration with campus programs. All library faculty serve as academic liaisons with responsibility for collection development, library instruction sessions and the development of class and subject guides; share in providing introductory library instruction sessions; contribute to Library Services Department committees/activities; and participate in College governance through membership on committees and task forces.
