In conjunction with the “Filming the Camps: From Hollywood to Nuremberg” exhibit at the History Museum of Mobile, Spring Hill College (SHC) is hosting “The Mitzvah Project” on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Mitchell Theater on SHC’s campus.
“The Mitzvah Project” is a combination of theatrical performance, history lesson and conversation with Roger Grunwald, actor and child of a Holocaust survivor, that explores one of the most shocking aspects of the Jewish experience during the Second World War. After the lecture, Grunwald will lead a discussion with the audience on a number of socio-historical issues. He will be available for interview on Oct. 20.
“Filming the Camps: From Hollywood to Nuremberg” is currently on loan to the History Museum of Mobile through January 16, 2017, from Mémorial de la Shoah. Find more events and dates at http://bit.ly/shcfilmcamps.
