In addition to team registration, individuals may register for $150, and players under 30 may register at a discounted $100 per player. Proceeds from the tournament fund a scholarship for children, grandchildren and siblings of alumni from Mobile or Baldwin County.
In 1995, the Mobile Chapter of the Spring Hill College National Alumni Association named its scholarship golf tournament to honor distinguished alumnus, jurist and professor, the Hon. Michael E. Zoghby. In the summer of 1997, James DeVaney, recipient of the Zoghby scholarship, died in an automobile accident. In honor of his memory, the Mobile Alumni Chapter added his name to the scholarship.
