Spring Hill College students participate in juried art exhibitions
MOBILE – Spring Hill College art students participated in the
first-ever University of Mobile Juried Art Exhibition as well as a
juried art exhibition sponsored by the Mobile Arts Council.
Of the 122 artists who submitted their work to the University of Mobile
Juried Art Exhibition, a regional show open to seven Southern states,
49 artists were selected, five of whom are Spring Hill College
students. The following students and their works were selected:
Jen Huber – “Trees I”
Robert Guntli – “Finger Painting”
Dayna Shonk – “Madness”
Leah Nichols – “Isabella”
Laura Classen – “Kaliedescope”
”Take 5,” a juried art exhibition sponsored by the Mobile Arts Council,
was open to the five local colleges and junior colleges. Of the 83
artists who submitted their work, 34 artists were selected, nine of
whom are Spring Hill College students. The following students and their
works were selected:
