Castello named director of MBA program
MOBILE, Ala. – Dr. Sergio Castello, associate professor of economics, has been named director of the Master of Business Administration program at Spring Hill College. He began his duties as director on July 1
Castello earned a Ph.D. in economics from Colorado State University, an MBA from the University of Memphis in Tennessee, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn. Castello’s research interests include international production, multinational corporations, international industrial organization, small open economics, and micro and rural finance in Latin America.
Castello joined Spring Hill College’s faculty full time in 2007. Prior to his appointment, Castello was an adjunct instructor at Spring Hill and an associate professor of global business and economics at the University of Mobile.
