Mobile’s Singing Children to perform on NPR’s 'From The Top' at Saenger Theatre Jan. 11

MOBILE, Ala. – Mobile’s Singing Children, the premier youth chorus on the Gulf Coast, has been selected to perform with other outstanding young classical musicians at a live taping of the National Public Radio (NPR) program, "From the Top," at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11 at Mobile’s Saenger Theatre.

The performance, hosted by internationally acclaimed concert pianist Christopher O’Riley, will be broadcast at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, on 91.3 WHIL, and is being made possible through a generous grant from the Sybil H. Smith Charitable Trust. 

Mobile’s Singing Children is made up of more than 40 boys and girls, and is directed by Susan Hoitt.
