Dr. Nathan Salmon to present 'Kripke's Puzzle About Belief' at Suarez Lecture

MOBILE, Ala. – Dr. Nathan Salmon, professor of philosophy at the University of California – Santa Barbara, will present Spring Hill College’s 2009 Suarez Lecture at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 in the Gautrelet Room. Admission is free.
Salmon’s talk is titled “Kripke’s Puzzle About Belief.” He is most famous for his work in the philosophy of language, metaphysics, and logic.
The Suarez Lecture, Spring Hill College's first annual lecture series, was started in 1965 by Tau Omega, the college philosophy club. The series brings nationally known scholars to lecture on topics that alternate between philosophy and theology. It is named in honor of Jesuit philosopher and theologian Francisco Suarez (1548-1617).
