MOBILE, Ala. – Spring Hill College is featured in “Mobile Bay: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow,” a new full-color book that chronicles the Mobile Bay area’s past, present and future since the dawn of the camera age.
Featuring the collections of local and state historical archives, the hardbound 288-page coffee-table book pairs historic photographs, many over a century old, with views of the same scenes as they appear today. “Mobile Bay” features past and current photographs of St. Joseph Chapel, Stewartfield, the Administration Building and the Quadrangle, complete with descriptions of each scene. It also includes a two-page spread on Spring Hill College, which gives an overview of the history of the College and a current profile of campus life.
“Mobile Bay: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow,” written by Michael V. R. Thomason and Carol Ellis, features the photography of Catt Sirtin and profiles by Elizabeth A. Doehring.
The book is available wherever books are sold for $49.95, as well as online at www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com. For more information or to order a copy of the book, contact Beers & Associates at (334) 396-2896, www.beersandassociates.net or firstname.lastname@example.org.
