Spring Hill College Student Center earns design award
MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College Student Center has been awarded first place in the Institutional category for architectural design competition sponsored by the American Society of Interior Design (ASID).
The center opened in fall 2010 and is Mobile’s first multipurpose Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified “green” complex. It was designed by TAG/The Architects Group and built by Vance McCown Construction.
The center houses a variety of offices, including student affairs and campus ministry, as well as the dining services areas, a grill, lounges, conference rooms and student organization offices and work spaces.
