Spring Hill College Homecoming set for April 12-14, 2013

MOBILE, Ala. – Spring Hill College alumni will return to the campus for the annual “Homecoming on the Hill” event April 12-14. Class years ending in 3s and 8s will be honored, including alumni celebrating their 50-year reunion.

The weekend will include the annual Zoghby-DeVaney Scholarship Golf Tournament, sporting events, a Delta river boat tour, various fraternity and sorority alumni functions, and a Bay Appetit reception in honor of Dr. Michael Kaffer '61, who celebrates 50 years of service on the English faculty.

Timmie Hathorn, assistant director of alumni and advancement, says, “We are excited for this year’s reunion weekend and look forward to showcasing each of our new events.” Additional highlights for the weekend include a Fiesta on the Hill, Run of the Hill 5K, an on-campus race to benefit Campus Ministry's International Service Immersion Program, and a Java session with the Jesuits.
