Admission Process for Transfer Students

We welcome the experience and diversity that transfer students bring to our academic community. Knowing that the application process is different for you than it is for our first-time students, we will strive to make your transition as smooth as possible.

Transfer student is a classification assigned to any student who has previously enrolled at a college or university other than Spring Hill College with a transcript of record at that (or those) institution(s). Students seeking transfer admission are required to disclose attendance at all prior institutions.

For adult or adult transfer students (age 25 or over) admission information, visit our Continuing Studies section.

Application Procedures

In addition to the application form and fee, a transfer student must submit the following forms, available for download at the bottom of the page.

  2. an official, complete transcript of the high school record and official scores from either the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT) if the applicant has completed fewer than twenty semester hours of college work; and

  3. an evaluation of achievement and potential from the registrar or the dean of students from the last college attended.
