The Spring Hill College Department of Psychology provides practical education and field experience to enable students to find jobs in psychology-related fields immediately after obtaining the bachelor’s degree.

Testimonials

Dr. Lisa Hager

We develop relationships with our majors that last for years. I've been to students' weddings, bought baby gifts, provided advice about teaching or research, and shared many lunches and dinners. We keep in touch and we continue to care about our students long after they have graduated.

— Dr. Lisa Hager

Dr. Jamie Franco Zamudio

During their senior year, our students participate in field or research experience classes. Many of these students present their work at outside conferences and express their appreciation of these opportunities, stating: * “It was very rewarding to give back to the community, gave us a new perspective on the poverty and struggle outside of our world.” * “I grew academically as well as personally.” * “It showed real-world applications of what we were learning.” * “The team project was very rewarding because it allowed us to give back.”

— Dr. Jamie Franco Zamudio
