Roommates must both request to live with each other to be assigned to live together. If interested in learning communities, roommates must apply for the same community. If roommates each apply to live in a different learning community the learning community selection will be given preference and you will not be paired as roommates.
Learning Communities offer students the option to live together in a dedicated area in the Skip Viragh Complex. These areas are referred to as a "pod" and are specifically designed to deliver a variety of educational, social, and developmental programs and services to support students with their transition to the College.
Learning Communities are a desirable housing option among first-year students and fill up quickly on a first-come, first-served basis. The available Learning Community options are listed below.
As a result of high demand and limited supply we may not be able to honor your request to reside in a Learning Community.
Please rank your interest in each community, with 1 being the most desirable and 7 being the least desirable option for you.
