Would you like to develop a life-saving drug, design a space capsule, or analyze moon rock? What about studying DNA molecules or creating a new antibiotic?

At Spring Hill College, you’ll explore the role of chemistry in everyday life, and apply your knowledge to understand and provide possible solutions to current day concerns like acid rain, global warming, and water quality.

While the majority of SHC students go on to pursue a Ph.D., careers are also available in pharmaceuticals, education, chemical and petroleum industries, medicine and allied health, as well as research labs.

Program Goals

Our undergraduate chemistry program allows students to explore the several fields of chemistry with supporting courses in calculus and physics to provide students with a well-rounded education.
