Spring Hill College announces 3+1 accelerated Business to MBA program

Spring Hill College is pleased to announce the Division of Business will begin offering a 3+1 Business to Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, whereby students can obtain both a bachelor’s degree in Business and an MBA in four total years of study. This selective program – the only of its kind in the State of Alabama – will begin in the fall of the 2020-21 academic year and is offered to highly-motivated incoming freshmen and transfer students.

Students spend their first three years in the traditional undergraduate program on campus while the final year consists of online courses to achieve an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Graduates of the program will have both degrees conferred at Commencement.

“The 3+1 format offers multiple advantages over a traditional degree path, allowing students to save time and money while benefitting from the Jesuit tradition of Spring Hill’s education,” said President E. Joseph Lee II, PhD. “This combined degree allows students to take advantage of Mobile’s unique position as a port city. Through internships and mentorships with major industrial and international corporations we are building into the curriculum, they will be uniquely positioned after graduation to secure that all-important first job.”

Students in the program can take advantage of on-campus residence halls, regardless of whether they are in traditional or online classrooms. The supportive environment on The Hill coupled with small class sizes allows students the highest chances of success.
