“Next year I will be serving with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. I will be working as a Social Services Case Aide in Refugee Resettlement for the Nationalities Service Center in Philadelphia, PA. After my year, I hope to go onto graduate school and get my masters in social work.”


Elizabeth Kasongo
“I have been accepted to University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Pace University in New York, and Northeastern University in Boston. I am currently waiting on my decision from Georgia Tech’s Cybersecurity program. I plan on going to graduate school for Masters of Cybersecurity or Information Assurance after graduation which I am really excited about!”



Nicholas Meinhardt
“I will be joining Morgan Stanley as a Wealth Advisor Associate in their Alabama and Florida Panhandle Wealth Management Division.”


Alyssa Miles
“I was accepted into the 6th Cohort for Seton Teaching Fellows. I’ll be moving to the South Bronx, New York in July to begin a year of service with Seton Education Partners. I’ll be working in Operations instead of Assistant teaching during the day. Basically, I’ll be handling communications, event planning and outreach. So I’ll get to use my commarts major in this position now.”



Georgette Munezero
“One thing I never expected to happen, that I can thank SHC for is developing a passion for social justice and making it a factor of my career path. I’m pursuing a Master of Science in Global Health Delivery.”



Heather Nye
“I will be working with L’Arche Mobile. An amazing community for people with and without intellectual disabilities to live and work together. I was introduced to L’Arche through an internship with the Foley Center last semester and it blossomed into an amazing job opportunity that I have accepted.”


Katy Rasp
“I have recently accepted a job offer with Thompson Engineering as the Communications Coordinator. I have spent the past 10 months as an intern for Thompson Engineering and I look forward to starting my career with such an amazing company!”



Shelby Smyth
‘I am going into the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in August! My placement is in Syracuse, New York. I will be a Refugee Youth Worker, and I will help refugees adjust to American schools and culture! Afterwards, I got accepted to Boston College’s Masters in Social Work Program, where I will officially start in the fall of 2020! Yay!”

“I’ll be working as a volunteer at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Houston.”
