- Spring Hill College administration recommends that faculty and staff receive the full COVID-19 vaccination and COVID-19 booster shot to help lessen the probability of becoming infected. Faculty and Staff should upload their COVID-19 vaccination status through this secure and confidential Google doc form.
- Faculty and staff are expected to follow the Spring COVID-19 campus protocols and guidelines — see protocols and guidelines section of this webpage.
- If you test positive with COVID-19 or come in close contact with someone who has, please contact Badgers Health at badgershealth@shc.edu and adhere to the following guidance:
If you receive a positive COVID-19 test:
- SHC community member should isolate for 5 days from the date of the test. If symptoms are resolving at the end of five days, no additional isolation is required.
- Continue to wear a mask for 5 additional days
If you have been exposed as a close contact to someone who tested positive for COVID-19:
If you have received a booster shot OR completed the vaccination process with the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines in the past 6 months OR completed the vaccination process with Johnson and Johnson in the past 2 months, take the following actions:
- Wear a mask for 10 days
- If possible, take a COVID-19 test on the 5th day
- Quarantine is not required
If you have been exposed as a close contact to someone who tested positive for COVID-19:
If you completed the vaccination process with the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines over 6 months ago OR completed the vaccination process with Johnson and Johnson over 2 months ago, OR are unvaccinated, take the following actions:
- Quarantine for 5 days
- If possible, take a COVID-19 test on the 5th day
- Wear a mask for an additional 5 days
The guidance from the CDC is changing quickly in light of the new Omicron variant. SHC will communicate updated protocols should the guidance from the CDC or ADPH change.
