Career Outlook

Students will gain a broader mindset and deeper well of faith to draw from in their daily lives. This is a great opportunity for students who want to continue their service in ministries, churches, or on missions.

Testimonial

Through different theology courses, interactions, and observations, I have been impacted in a very positive way. Because of my experience at Spring Hill, I know that I want to continue to study theology and be involved in some form of ministry in the future. — Haley Troxclair

As a theology department at a Jesuit institution, the theology faculty is committed to guiding our majors in “the service of faith and the promotion of justice,” which are at the very heart of the Christian gospel. The fundamental rationale of the theology core requirement is to introduce students to serious, critical reflection on questions relating to God and human existence.
