Commencement
Commencement will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 9 a.m. on the Avenue of the Oaks.
Overflow and inside seating will be available in the Barter Student Center, where Commencement will stream live. Graduates must report to the second floor of Byrne Memorial Hall by 8:00 a.m. to line up for the graduate procession. Cap and Gown are required in order to participate in commencement.
In the event of rain (or a high probability of rain), we will move the Baccalaureate Mass and the Commencement Ceremony indoors to the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center. If we move indoors for Commencement, seating will be limited and family and guests will need Commencement Tickets. Each graduate will receive five (5) Commencement Tickets, which you may pick up at the Student Center Information Desk on Friday afternoon. Please watch the SHC Commencement webpage for announcements about the rain plan if needed.
If you are taking the Dauphin St. entrance, please be advised that McGregor Ave will be closed between Dauphin St. and Airport Blvd.
