From the nearby beaches to its diverse communities, Mobile, Alabama is Spring Hill College’s hometown. About 540,000 residents live in the Mobile Bay area, which encompasses approximately 2,800 square mile It’s a short drive from the campus to great local food, music and culture in downtown Mobile. Take a short walk and simple pleasures like great pizza, boutique shopping and national retailers are even closer. Spring Hill’s campus is a 381-acre, naturally landscaped site, and features massive oaks, azalea-lined walkways and an 18-hole golf course.
Spring Hill College has participated in intercollegiate athletics since 1889 when the baseball team first took to the diamond. The Badgers currently have 16 teams that compete within NCAA Division II and the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) or the Gulf South Conference (GSC). Since 1979, SHC has produced 61 NAIA All-Americans and 180 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes. And although we’re not a football college, it’s said we have been undefeated since 1941!
