As a rolling admissions college, we accept applications year-round and are available anytime to answer questions you may have about academics, campus life, financial aid, or anything else. Having rolling admissions also means we’ll be able to make admissions decisions promptly after an application is submitted. We recommend you apply during the fall of your senior year for maximum scholarship consideration.

Apply now to get started as a Badger!

We also have a test-optional policy that allows students to be reviewed holistically, rather than just on test scores. This is vital to our mission as a college: “Cura Personalis”, the care for the whole person, intellectually, socially, and spiritually.

Once your application file is complete, you can expect to receive an admission decision within 10 days.

A complete admission file consists of:

  • an official transcript of high school grades covering at least six semesters
  • official scores from either the SAT or the ACT
  • In some instances, letters of recommendation, a personal essay and an interview with a college representative may be requested.

All prospective students are encouraged to visit the campus.

Common Application

You may also apply for admission by using the Common Application. We are a member of the Common Application for first-time freshmen and transfer students. International students may also apply through the Common Application for transfer and freshman admissions.

If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office at admit@shc.edu or call 251.380.3030 or 800.742.6704.
