Election Day is coming and registering to vote in Alabama or in your home state is the first step in making your voice heard. Spring Hill College encourages all students to register to vote.

To register to vote in the State of Alabama you must:

  • Be a citizen of the United States.
  • Live in Alabama.
  • Be at least 18 years of age on or before Election Day.
  • Not have been convicted of a disqualifying felony, or if you have been convicted, you must have had your civil rights restored.
  • Not have been declared “mentally incompetent” by a court.


Need to register to vote in Alabama? 

Visit AlabamaVotes.gov to verify your voter registration, register online, download a Voter Registration Form, or request that a form be mailed to you.  You can also use a Voter Registration Form to update your voter information if you have moved or have changed your name. Be sure to register to vote at least 15 days before Election Day.
