Spring Hill College is excited to welcome new students on Friday, August 16, 2024. Move-in Day will officially commence with check-in at the LeBlanc Conference Room, located upstairs in the Barter Student Center, starting at 8:00 a.m. Students will be greeted by Spring Hill faculty, staff, and students, who will assist with bags, boxes, and suitcases as they move into their new home on The Hill.
Dr. Mary H. Van Brunt, President of Spring Hill College, shared her enthusiasm: “I am thrilled to welcome our new and returning students to The Hill. This summer, we’ve been busy implementing exciting updates and enhancements to enrich the student experience. Move-in Day is a significant milestone for every student, marking the beginning of a new academic year and a journey of personal growth. While leaving home can be both exciting and a bit nerve-wracking, I am confident that students will find comfort and support within the SHC community as they embrace new challenges and experiences.”
Move-in Day kicks off Badger Beginnings, with activities starting Friday, August 16, 2024. This will be followed by the Week of Welcome celebration on Saturday, August 17, 2024. A downloadable schedule of activities for the week can be found here.

- Move-In: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Move-In: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- After Hours Check-In: 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Residence Life Office)
Move-In Day – August 16, 2024
- Move-In: 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Welcome Lunch: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Returning Student Move-In: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
