Women’s March Mobile Moved to Public Safety Memorial Park

Spring Hill College has announced that the Women’s March Mobile event that had been reported to be scheduled for the college’s campus on Saturday, January 21, 2017, and open to the public has been moved to the Public Safety Memorial Park. The venue is at 2301 Airport Blvd.

The public park was selected due to an overwhelming interest in the student-organized event, coupled with the college’s commitment to the safety of its students and all involved.

“Our primary focus is maintaining the safety and security of our campus community members and all attendees to any events that occur on our campus. We simply do not have the resources to host a public event of this magnitude,” said Spring Hill College President Christopher P. Puto, PhD.

The student-organized event will begin at 11:15 am and is open to all.

For more information about the student-sponsored event, please visit the Women’s March Mobile Facebook page.
