Extra credit: Play a round on our Spring Hill College golf course. It’s the November 19 Fall Open House for future students and families.
More than 60 families came to campus in October for the College’s first-of-the-year Badger Day Open House to learn about coming to Spring Hill. The day kicked off with Breakfast with the Badgers on Rydex Commons, where students learned about clubs, activities and service opportunities.
They were also introduced to the College and its mission at historic St. Joseph Chapel. From there, the day was filled with faculty discussions, class overviews, campus life sessions and tours.
With the College’s second open house on November 19 a few weeks away, students have another chance to learn about life on The Hill.
“The best part about Spring Hill is the community experience that you get here,” said Riley Navarre, Spring Hill College senior. “Being able to know all your professors personally and being able to recognize basically all the faces on campus as you walk around, it just makes you feel really close and like a really tight knit community.”
Dr. E. Joseph Lee II, President of the College said, “Our first Badger Day Open House was remarkable. I heard such great things from the students and families who attended. They could not wait to be Badgers!”
He went on to say, “I hope we are able to greet even more families at this next event on November 19. Visiting the College is truly the best way to get a feel for the wonderful faculty, students and campus. We want families to know their students will be not only welcomed here, but also formed to lead, find their purpose and ultimately their career through their education at Spring Hill College.”
