Lipinksi named to NCAA Division II All-America First Team

In a year of firsts for Spring Hill College Badger Athletics inaugural NCAA Division II season, another high accolade came to The Hill as Alex Lipinski '20 was named to the United Soccer Coaches' NCAA Division II Men’s First Team All-America, the association announced today. Lipinski, a Marketing major, is a Midfielder who came to Spring Hill from Krefeld, Germany.

“It’s a tremendous achievement for Alex to be recognized as an All-American for his performance this season,” said men's head soccer coach Steve Wieczorek. “He is a terrific, truly special young man. We could not be more proud of him and to have him represent our Badgers program on and off the field.”

This year’s NCAA Division II All-Americans will be formally recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on January 12, 2019 at McCormick Place West Building in conjunction with the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Convention in Chicago.

Spring Hill College began its first year of NCAA Division II play in September.
