Spring Hill College recently named the finalists to the elite list of Spring Hill Scholars, the College’s most prestigious academic student award. This select group of students from around the U.S. will receive a full scholarship covering tuition and fees for all four years of their undergraduate study – a scholarship with a value of more than $160,000.
“I speak for the entire Spring Hill College community when I say how pleased and proud we are about our newest Spring Hill Scholars – a distinctive honor to which many aspire, but few attain,” said President E. Joseph Lee II, PhD. “I look forward to meeting each Scholar and welcoming them to our Spring Hill College family.”
Spring Hill Scholars are members of the Class of 2023 whose applications undergo a rigorous selection process by a committee of the College’s faculty. Scholars are selected based on academic qualifications, service to school and community and demonstrated leadership qualities. As Scholars, students must maintain satisfactory academic progress toward graduation and a 3.4 cumulative grade point average.
“These students can be justifiably proud of the accomplishments that have placed them among the very best students newly admitted to Spring Hill College,” said Gary Bracken, Vice President of Enrollment Management.
