More than 235 potential Spring Hill College freshmen and their families attended Badger Day Open House on campus on February 17. They travelled from 14 states to learn about the College, its curriculum and life on campus.
“Our Badger Day Open House events are very special to everyone here at Spring Hill,” said E. Joseph Lee II, President of Spring Hill College. “I enjoy getting to know our future students and sharing the distinction of a Spring Hill College education.”
Kevin Abel, Vice President of Student Affairs, was also excited about the day’s events “Badger Day is a great opportunity for students and families to get a chance to explore various campus organizations, residence hall living and the internships and job placement opportunities that are available to SHC students. It's a tremendous day for them to help make their commitment to Spring Hill.”
Visiting students also felt the importance of the day’s offerings.
“My favorite thing was the big presentation we had in the beginning of the day,” said Tray Hall, a future Badger from New Orleans. “It answered most of the questions I had and gave me a better overview of the campus. I liked how we got to walk across campus and see how pretty it was.”
The February Badger Day Open House at Spring Hill helped students and families alike also understand the power of the Jesuit education at the College. As one of the 27 nationally recognized Jesuit Colleges and Universities, Spring Hill has been committed to exemplary education since 1830.
The next event for future Badgers at Spring Hill is Welcome to The Hill, a day exclusively for accepted students and their families, on March 21. For more information on Welcome to The Hill or any other inquiries about the admissions process, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
