Welcome to The Hill!
From the moment you and your family pull up to your residence hall on Move-in Day, you become part of the Badger community. Student, faculty and staff volunteers will swarm your vehicle, unload it in record time, and transport your belongings to your room in your new home. That’s how we do things on The Hill, because we’re a family.
As you are preparing to move on campus, we encourage you to read the Guide to Living on Campus. This will help you determine what to bring, what to leave at home, and also give you a better understanding of room dimensions and amenities.
On-Campus Living for First-Year Students
All full-time, traditional undergraduate students not residing locally with parents or legal guardians are required to live on campus and participate in a campus meal plan. First-year students are required to purchase the unlimited meal plan.
Each residence hall has Resident Advisors (RAs) who provide leadership, enforce college policies, coordinate activities, and serve as valuable resources for students.
Our Core Principles
- Respect for oneself
- Respect for others
- Respect for property
