Program Overview

Are you curious about how digital platforms shape conversations, why certain content goes viral, or what drives people to engage, share, and act online? As a Digital Communication and Social Influence major, you’ll explore how messages move through today’s media ecosystems and learn to design content that captures attention, builds communities, and inspires action.

In this program, you’ll experiment with emerging technologies, analyze online behavior, and strengthen skills like storytelling, data-informed strategy, and creative problem-solving. Along the way, you’ll examine the ethics of digital persuasion, the impact of algorithms on public dialogue, and the role influencers and organizations play in shaping culture. By the time you graduate, you’ll be equipped to craft, measure, and refine digital communication strategies that make a real impact across industries and platforms.
