Program Overview

Learn the foundational knowledge on computer processes, programming, and design and how to implement these skills in the professional world with a minor in Computer Information Systems (CIS). 

This CIS minor is great for students that want to get a well-rounded, technology-based education, especially if they want to pursue a career in management, digital marketing, or IT. Program Goals

Students in this program will learn skills related to computer programming and application development as well as get an in-depth understanding of not only how to create information systems and networks, but also how to manage them. Our liberal arts background will ensure a well-rounded education and provide soft skills on top of a strong STEM foundation.

Career Outlook

Students with a minor in CIS will have a stronger STEM background than most other business majors upon graduation. This gives them a unique edge in fields like IT, e-commerce, digital marketing and more!
