Finance is a critical part of all organizations and is used by individuals, governments, businesses, schools and not-for-profits. By completing this minor at SHC, you’ll be able to demonstrate focused skills in finance, while at the same time earning a broader degree.

This program will provide students with the foundational principles of accounting, economics, and financial markets and management. This Finance minor will allow students to have a broader understanding of financial situations and look past the numbers to develop the optimal solution by always thinking of the larger picture.
As a finance minor, students will be able to use the analytical skills they have learned in this program to work in a variety of financial roles, from financial advisors to management and beyond. Graduates will be able to assess situations with ease and develop real-world financial solutions in a timely manner.
