Program Overview

With 53 million Spanish speakers in the U.S. and over 559 million speakers worldwide, Spanish is one of the most useful languages for making business and traveling. As our country’s Spanish-speaking population continues to grow, so does the demand for people who can read, write and translate the language. A minor in Spanish will provide you with a competitive edge in a variety of fields, including education, international business, political science, law, medicine and graduate school.

The Spanish minor at Spring Hill College provides students with valuable working knowledge of the Spanish language, cultures, literature and philosophy. Our expert faculty will provide you with a learning experience that can sharpen your speaking, writing and conversation skills. Smaller class sizes mean you get to know your professors, and ensure you will receive focused, one-on-one attention from them.
