Want to have a solid background in biology? Interested in the study of living organisms? Looking for a minor that is always useful in life?
Our biology minor will educate students on all topics of general biology including zoology, anatomy, and more! Students will be able to choose which upper-level topics they’d like to study, giving them the opportunity to tailor their minor to their interests and goals.

This program will provide foundational knowledge in different topics of biology and gives students the ability to personalize their minor with their choice of upper division courses. This program is best for students who want to have a better understanding of biology, are going into health sciences, or want to continue their interest in the field of biology.
Students with this minor will be able to go into many health care jobs such as a medical assistant or go into a professional or graduate program to continue their health education. Students will learn biological processes and organisms that will be of good use to them in their personal and professional lives.
