The goal of the pure mathematics program at Spring Hill College is to provide students with mathematical ideas and abilities which will broaden their knowledge, expand their problem-solving abilities, and help secure careers in which the understanding of mathematical concepts is necessary for success.
Graduates of this program will be able to utilize their STEM skills in a variety of fields, from the classroom to the lab. This is a great program for those that are interested in working in a STEM field or want to pursue a graduate degree program in mathematics.
“I have always loved math and declared my major day one of freshman year. The SHC professors really want to see us succeed and do well. Our small class sizes have enabled us to develop a relationship with our instructors as well as our classmates.” — Mary Catherine McKinley
