Program Overview

Would you like to develop a life-saving drug, design a space capsule, or analyze moon rock? What about studying DNA molecules or creating a new antibiotic?

At Spring Hill College, you’ll explore the role of chemistry in everyday life, and apply your knowledge to understand and provide possible solutions to current day concerns like acid rain, global warming, and water quality.

Program Goals

Our minor in chemistry gives students some insight into general and organic chemistry. With strong STEM teaching and a liberal arts background, students will receive a well-rounded education at Spring Hill College. 

Career Outlook

Students will gain the foundations of organic and general chemistry with our minor. This will help students have a solid understanding of chemistry principles and processes that will be a large advantage in STEM professional fields.
