Program Goals
The goals of the Health Science minor include:
- Demonstrate sound scientific reasoning skills
- Apply scientific principles to biological/health problems
- Evidence effective use of scientific literature
- Demonstrate quantitative knowledge and skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic laboratory skills
Career Outlook
Graduates with this minor will be able to work in supporting roles in health care such as medical assistant. This is also a great minor to be able to move on to graduate or professional medical programs.
