This SHC minor is designed to enhance the three basic skills needed to succeed in law school: creative and analytical thinking, understanding governmental and societal institutions, and the comprehension and use of language.
Our pre-law program helps prepare students that want to continue their education in law school. This program provides students with an insight into the criminal justice system and governance so they’ll be ready to continue their legal education after graduation.
“I like the idea of helping people understand their constitutional rights, and making sure that everyone has the opportunity for appropriate legal representation. My courses have been incredibly beneficial in teaching me to problem-solve, live with integrity, think critically, and never stop asking questions.” — Alexis Esnault
