Program Overview

The Spring Hill College Department of Psychology provides practical education and field experience to enable students to find jobs in psychology-related fields.

We also prepare students for graduate training in clinical psychology, school psychology, counseling, and a wide variety of experimental psychology programs. A unique feature of Spring Hill’s program is the emphasis on high standards of academic scholarship and research, community service, and personal growth.

Program Goals

This minor in psychology will provide students with an overview of human thought and behavior. By providing a solid foundation of mental processes and behaviors, students will learn observational and communication skills that will be of utmost importance to them while navigating the real world.

Career Outlook

Graduates with a minor in psychology will be effective leaders by understanding the way humans think and feel and by making the best decisions with those in mind. This program is great for students who want to learn more about what makes us tick and how to use psychology in the workplace and everyday life.
