Mobile, Ala.— Spring Hill College has officially begun the demolition of historic Walsh Hall to make way for the highly anticipated $36 million Health and Science Innovation Center. Set to break ground in Fall 2025, the project underscores the College’s enduring commitment to academic excellence, innovation and service. With the Walsh Hall site now in the final stages of clearing, preparations are well underway for what promises to be a transformative addition to The Hill.
With completion expected by Fall 2026, the new 57,000-square-foot facility will be the home for the College’s nursing, pre-med, health sciences and natural sciences programs. The Health and Science Innovation Center is designed to foster a culture of discovery, collaboration and community engagement. The Innovation Center will feature cutting-edge laboratories, expansive teaching and research spaces and advanced academic resources tailored to meet the demands of today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
