Spring Hill College Welcomes New Students with Move-In Day and Week of Welcome Celebration

Mobile, Ala.— Spring Hill College will welcome its newest Badgers to campus on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, for their official Move-In Day and the kickoff to the exciting Week of Welcome, which will be held from Aug. 23-29. The event marks the beginning of an exciting academic year and provides a supportive transition for first-year and transfer students as they begin their journey on The Hill.

Move-In Day officially begins at 9 a.m. with check-in at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center. Upon arrival, students and their families will be greeted by Spring Hill College faculty, staff and student leaders, who will carry on the longstanding tradition of hands-on assistance with unloading cars and helping students move their bags, boxes and belongings into the residence halls that will become their home on campus.

After Move-In, students will dive into a weeklong series of orientation events designed to introduce them to campus life, academic resources and student organizations. The Week of Welcome includes social gatherings, informational sessions and a variety of programs to help students connect with peers and faculty.

Returning students will move to campus on Saturday, Aug. 23, and will also be able to take part in Week of Welcome festivities.
