(Mobile, Ala.) Spring Hill College has partnered with Ingalls Shipbuilding to provide tuition assistance benefits to eligible employees through the Center for Online Learning. They are the largest military shipbuilding company in America and a provider of professional services to partners in government and industry.
Spring Hill will extend preferred tuition benefits (10% discount and payment deferment) to eligible employees of Ingalls Shipbuilding through the company’s pre-approved Education Assistance Program. Eligible Employees who meet admissions criteria for the online degree program will receive the preferred tuition benefits.

Ingalls Shipbuilding has an outstanding Education Assistance program, which provides up to $5,250 per year towards their education,” said Patrick Sprague, Director of Operations for Spring Hill’s Center for Online Learning. “Ingalls is offering its employees the opportunity to further their education and career goals. The flexibility of our online degree and certificate programs allows them to take classes at their own pace and provides the guidance and support necessary to ensure that they become graduates of Spring Hill College.”
Now, with this partnership in place, when Ingalls employees choose Spring Hill College, tuition is discounted, and they are able to defer the cost of classes until after classes are completed. This makes going to college more affordable.

The College will also work with select departments to host virtual lunch and learn events.
