Curriculum Snapshot

The Strategic Communication curriculum blends creative media production with business-savvy strategy. In lower-division courses, students build foundational skills in digital design, video, photography, podcasting, and nonprofit communication β€” learning to tell compelling stories across platforms. Upper-division classes dive deeper into marketing strategy, research, business ethics, and strategic writing, preparing students to lead communication efforts with insight and impact. Real-world experience is built in through an internship and a capstone seminar that brings it all together.
