The Student Center
Spring Hill College’s new Student Center opened in May 2010 as the third and final anchor of the Rydex Commons, where the Marnie and John Burke Memorial Library engages the mind and St. Joseph Chapel nurtures the spirit. As the gathering place for the entire College community, the Student Center connects students, faculty and staff to out-of-class learning and social and leadership development.
The center is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. Read more about the Student Center and Sustainability.
Marnie and John Burke Memorial Library
Spring Hill College opened the Marnie and John Burke Memorial Library in 2004. The library plays a central role in Spring Hill’s Jesuit, liberal arts education and supports the research and professional development of the College community.
The 71,000-square-foot facility houses nearly 200,000 volumes and, through its Web-based information system, provides access to electronic databases, hundreds of videos, and thousands of full-text academic and scholarly electronic books and journals.
Also housed in the library are Archives and Special Collections, Administrative Information Services, and the Agnes Williams Faculty Development Center.
