The English program at Spring Hill College opens your mind to a wealth of different genres and styles of literature and linguistics and encourages you to open your mind to philosophy, history, social issues, language in general, and even science. The English Department offers courses in traditionally studied literature such as American and British literature and specific works by authors like Faulkner and Shakespeare, but it also offers courses in pop culture, linguistics in the contemporary world, women writers, and a variety of special topics.
