Spring Hill College has been actively assessing its operations, mission and opportunities over the past couple of years, and has developed a new strategic plan to lead us into our bicentennial celebration in 2030!
We utilized the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm, and the recommendations from our recent assessments to develop our new strategic plan: Strategic Assessment and Alignment recommendations; Mission Priority Examen recommendations; Universal Apostolic Preferences from the Society of Jesus; Academic Program recommendations and the Fall 2021 Strategic Plan initiatives. All Spring Hill College constituents were invited to participate in the planning process that will begin on October 31, 2023 with planning sessions. Please see the timeline below for the development of the Strategic Plan.
Over the past several months, every non-academic department on campus completed a Strategic Assessment and Alignment (SAA) report focused on cost savings, revenue generation, workflow efficiencies, challenges, recommendations and opportunities. The President’s Advisory Council (PAC) reviewed all reports from June through October, and provided recommendations. These recommendations will be reviewed as potential initiatives to prioritize as part of the Strategic Plan. The SAA department template reports were designed based on the Academic Report card process, that will also be integrated into the Strategic Planning process.
Below is the timeline for the Strategic Planning process:
