Welcome to The Hill

From the moment you and your family pull up to your residence hall on move-in day, you become part of the Badger community. Student, faculty, and staff volunteers will meet you at your vehicle, unload it in record time, and transport your belongings to your room in your new home. That’s how we do things on The Hill — because we’re a family.

The Guide to Living on Campus. This will help you determine what to bring, what to leave at home, and also give you a better understanding of room dimensions and amenities.

Residence Halls

Each of the Spring Hill College residence halls and apartments is fully air-conditioned and equipped with a laundry facility. Rooms are furnished with an extra-long twin bed, dresser, desk (or dresser/desk combination), and chair for each person.* All residence halls are smoke-free.

Residents are encouraged to furnish their rooms to reflect personal tastes. You and your roommate may wish to plan your room décor together after you arrive on campus. You should observe the regulations in the Student Handbook concerning permissible room furnishings and consult the residence hall staff if you have any questions.

All full-time, traditional undergraduate students not residing locally with parents or legal guardians are required to live on campus and participate in a campus meal plan. First-year students are required to purchase the unlimited meal plan.

Each residence hall has Resident Advisors (RAs) who provide leadership, enforce college policies, coordinate activities, and serve as valuable resources for students.
