1. Register for New Student Orientation
Badger Beginnings is our New Student Orientation, where you can meet your future classmates, register for classes, and get ready for the fall!
Two dates to choose from in 2026. Orientation will be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on:
Friday, June 26
Friday, July 24
Please fill out this registration form to let us know when we can welcome you to campus!
2. Get Student ID and Parking Permit
Download the Hill Safe app and scroll to the New to Spring Hill College button to submit your ID photo and vehicle information.
(Note: You must be logged into your SHC email to complete actions on Hill Safe and other SHC platforms.)
3. Apply for Housing
Find your home on the Hill! Apply for housing or for commuter status here starting May 1!
4. Prep for Orientation
Get ready for Orientation and Registration!
(Also available Badger Beginnings Online under Academics; available 6/1) Request final, official transcripts from either your high school or college, including dual enrollment institutions, and send to: admit@shc.edu or by mail to:

5. Experience Badger Beginnings
See you on the Hill in June or July!
Meet your Orientation Leader, classmates, faculty and staff as you get prepped for the Fall and register for classes!
6. Take Care of your Account
- Complete the Enrollment Agreement (parent must sign if under 19) and email to Student Financial Services: studentbilling@shc.edu.
- Complete FAFSA if you have not (SHC school code is 001041)
- Financial Portals and Permission Options
- FERPA Permissions
- Badger Web > Parent Portal > Set up FERPA permissions
- Permission options for Academics, Finances, and Student Life
- Financial Aid Portal
- View aid package and accept/reduce/decline aid
- Click “Parent Portal Settings” to grant parents view access
- Payment Platform
- Badger Web > Billing > Nelnet
- Set up account; add authorized user; pay bill; enroll in a payment plan
- FERPA Permissions
